I have tried 5 different Ethernet cables, so it isn't the cable. In my network adapters it was saying that an Ethernet cable wasn't plugged in. So naturally I check the adapter, the adapter light is flashing but the light on the router that's next to the Ethernet cable wasn't flashing. So I recently got gigabit internet speeds on Ethernet, but I use a laptop and I wanted to utilize my gigabit speeds so i fished out my USB to Ethernet adapter, and wired everything up.
